1 GENERAL NOTES:
1 Process Notes
Provide vortex breaker for pump suction outlet.
5 2 One vessel required mark D7001
6 3 Vessel fabricator shall furnish and install all parts unless otherwise noted.
7 4 Blinded connections to be furnished with blind flange, studs, nuts and gaskets.
8 5 Minimum nozzle projections are from outisde of insulation of the vessel to extreme face of flange as below.
9 200 mm for NPS 4 inches and smaller.
10 250 mm for NPS 6 inches to NPS 12 inches and smaller .
11 300 mm for NPS 14 inches and larger.
12 6 All nozzle bolt holes to straddle principal vessel centerlines.
13 7 Flanged face finish to be in the range of 125 to 250 µ inch.
14 8 External flange gaskets to be spiral wound with SS304 metal winding and graphite filled with SS 304 inner and CS outer ring as per ASME B16.20.
15 9 Instrument nozzle numbers, sizes and rating to be confirmed by control system.
16 10 Process nozzles flange rating shall be verified considerining allowable nozzle loads as per UG-44 of ASME Sec VIII div 1.
