2.a) Explain about normalized device co-ordinates and homogeneous


co-ordinates. Discuss their importance in computer graphics.
b) Explain any one of polygon filling algorithms.

3.a) Discuss the display file structure.


b) Derive the transformation matrix for rotation about arbitrary point
in 2D.

4. Write and explain any one of polygon clipping algorithms.

5. State and explain various input device handling algorithms.

6.a) What is meant by perspective projection? Derive the necessary


transformation matrix for it.
b) Explain the back face removal algorithms.

7.a) Discuss the shading algorithms.


b) What is meant by interpolation? Discuss the interpolating
algorithms.

8. Write short notes on any three of the following:


a) Fractal surfaces
b) B- splines
c) Painters algorithm
d) Isometric projection.
