Mission of the University : The University shall primarily provide advanced professional and technical instruction for special purposes, advanced studies in
industrial
trade, agriculture, fishery, forestry, engineering, aeronautics and land-based programs, education, arts and sciences, health
sciences, information technology and other relevant fields of study. It shall also undertake research, extension services and
production, and provide progressive leadership in its areas of specialization.
Goals of the University : The University shall produce scientifically and technologically oriented human capital equipped with appropriate knowledge,
skills, and attitudes. It shall likewise pursue relevant research strengthen linkages with the industry, community and other
institutions and maintain sustainable technology for the preservation of the environment.

The course develops pre-service teachers’ technical and scientific writing skills necessary for information and communication across disciplines using
global language in a multilingual context. It will provide them extensive reading background and considerable knowledge on the components and
characteristics that determine technicality of language and concepts in a technical and scientific work. They will analyze a variety of professional rhetorical
situations and write different technical reports to demonstrate their proficiency in the written communication.

2. utilize ICT resources for data gathering, writing, editing, and advertising skills in a professional network of employers and job seekers;

4. prepare a portfolio of written outputs: progress report, accomplishment report, memo, email, inquiry letter, application letter, resume, LinkedIn account,
module on basic grammar, and case study; and
5. demonstrate the value of technical writing in the education industry and the society.
