SUBJECT: DIVISION MONITORING ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF FIVE-DAY


IN-PERSON CLASSES FOR THE WEEK OF NOVEMBER 2-4, 2022

1. In consonance to ensuring the smooth and orderly implementation of 5-day in-


person classes as contained in DepEd Order 34, s 2022, this Office informs all
schools the conduct of monitoring activities on the progressive transition status
of schools to the 5-day in-person classes for the week of November 2-4, 2022.

2. The purpose of the monitoring visit is to assess the implementation status and
document issues and challenges met by schools.

3. The assigned monitors for the said week are the CID and SGOD Teams and public
schools district supervisors or district in-charge, in coordination with their
district nurses. Monitoring strategies involve focus group discussion, on-site
observation, interviews and dialogues.

4. Schools in areas with local issuances on the cancellation of classes as part of the
post-typhoon rehabilitation and clean-up efforts shall still inform the district
supervisors of their current school status.

5. Traveling and other incidental expenses for this monitoring activity shall be
charged to SDO local funds of the respective functional divisions subject to usual
auditing rules and regulation.

6. The monitoring teams are expected to submit a Post-Monitoring Report on or


before November 4, 2022 as basis for implementation report and
recommendation to higher offices. All validated reports must be submitted
