I. PURPOSE
To establish and implement a process that provides employees, contractors and
visitors with the required information, knowledge, basic skills to perform any activities
at offshore facilities and/or office building in a safe, professional, and environmentally
manner.

II. SCOPE
This Procedure is applied to all employees, contractors and visitors in Medco E&P
Natuna Ltd, Medco Sampang Pty. Ltd., Ophir Madura Offshore Pty. Ltd. (herein later
called as “Company”)
Company: Medco E&P Natuna Ltd., Medco Sampang Pty. Ltd., and/or
Ophir Madura Offshore Pty. Ltd.
HSE Passport: A tool in form of digital or virtual card to record all relevant
data of personnel (employees, contractors, visitors) such as
personal data, emergency contacts, medical records, MCU
and HSE Orientation records, training and competency
records, mobilization/demobilization, etc.

Refresher Test: A written test given to all personnel who have their HSE
Orientation training expired. The result will determine
whether the HSE Orientation refresher training is required.
b. Notify & send the revised HSE Orientation materials to the Manager PA &
Audit to obtain approval

V. PROCEDURE
1. All employees, contractors, and visitors who are going to visit offshore fields
(incl. Matak Base), have to get their valid HSE Orientation
2. New employees, contractors and/or visitors who have not received the HSE
Orientation shall undergo the session prior to visiting offshore fields
3. Direct Supervisor/ Contract owner/ Sponsor shall inform and register their
respective employees, contractors, or visitors to the HSE Orientation
Dedicated Trainer
4. A regular (weekly) HSE Orientation training session is scheduled and held
in Jakarta. If the regular class (offline) is unable to be conducted, a virtual/
online class session or other applicable method have to be held as an
alternative
5. HSE Orientation training contents should include at a minimum the
following:
a. Company Policy
b. HSE Management System in brief
c. Life Saving Rules
d. Hazard Identification/ Risk Management (Top 5 major hazards)
e. Electrical Safety (Electronic devices)
