This document provides instructions for a guided mastery program on modeling 3D structures in Tekla Structures. It outlines exercises to import a 3D reference model, convert reference objects to native Tekla objects, and create and modify structural parts like footings, columns, beams and slabs. The exercises guide the user to place and detail structural elements based on a reference drawing to complete a basic 3D structure model in Tekla Structures.

Session-2- 3D Structure Model 2 1/22/2021 Taufik Musa Get to Know How to;
§ Import 3D Reference Model in Tekla Structure
§ Convert 3D Reference objects into Tekla Native objects § Create model objects (Footing, Column, Beam, Slab and modify their properties)
3 1/22/2021 Taufik Musa
Import 3D Model Reference File (Exercise – 01)
Insert 3D Reference file into
Tekla Model in correct position

Model Footings and Columns (Exercise – 03) 1. From ribbon, under Concrete tab, Click Footing 2. Under Footing properties, change; Profile size = 2000*2000 Position ; Top = 400, Bottom = -1500
3. Place Footing in the position marked in Picture
4. From ribbon, under Steel tab, Click Column 5. Under Column properties, change; Profile = UC203*203*71 Position ; Top = 6400, Bottom = 400
6. Place Column in the position marked in ref drawing
on top of footing 7. Use Copy tool – Right click to copy both Footing & Column
