System configuration
Connect the power supply directly to the G100C RAD generator input
terminals under the fuses cover and use an auxiliary contactor in order
to power on all the equipment in the room via generator console.
For every one of these power supply is requested a switch in the room
cabinet to separate the line during technical assistance.
NOTE:
If the indicated auxiliary contactor is not available, use a remote
controlled switch with the following characteristics:
– Coil: 220 – 230 Vac 50 Hz
230 – 240 Vac 60 Hz
– Contact: 4 N.O. contacts, 16 A.

4 SYSTEM CONNECTIONS
Here below you can find the system connection scheme, which indicates how to connect the system components each other.
The first row lists all the system components, and below, you can find connectors names (bold), signals names and directions (Italic Gray); for example X-Ray request on table goes
from Auxiliary Board on the G100C RAD to the Interface PCB A26 inside the Moviplan iC Table.
In the following paragraphs, each connection shown in the "General connection scheme" will be detailed wire by wire. It is also shown to which connector each wire must be
connected (a checkbox will help you to keep trace of the connections done).

If the X-ray tube used in the installation is present in the library of the
generator refer to the G100C RAD Service Manual, chapter 3C
"Interfacing and Programming" in order to record all the necessary
information to program the generator set-up.
The configuration of the starter board it is requested too. Refer to the
G100C RAD Service Manual, chapter 2.7.0 "Low speed starter tube
compatibility" to record the necessary information to complete the
configuration.
NOTE:
The tube library, concerning the I.A.E. X-ray tubes, contains only high
speed tube types. When a low speed I.A.E. X-ray tube has to be installed,
an high speed tube must be selected in the library, but it’s necessary to
force the generator to use only the low speed tube (see section 3C in the
Service Manual G100C RAD). The generator and the tube limits must be
set according with the tube type installed.

4.2.1.3 X-ray tube not present neither in library nor in GenWare® utility
software
If the X-ray tube used in the installation is not present neither in the
generator library nor in the GenWare® utility software a manual setting
of the tube and generator parameters is required. Before changing these
parameters is strictly recommended to consult the data sheet of the
X-ray tube that is going to be installed. An X-ray tube present in the
library or in the GenWare® utility software, as similar as possible to the
one is going to be installed, can be selected. The tube and the generator
parameter required in the generator set-up must be set in according with
the information recorded from the data sheet of the X-ray tube. Refer to
the G100C RAD Service Manual, chapter 3C.7.1 "Tube selection” and
3C.7.2 “Generator limits" in order to record all the necessary information
to program the generator set-up.
The configuration of the starter board it is requested too. Refer to the
G100C RAD Service Manual, chapter 2.7.0 "Low speed starter tube
compatibility" to record the necessary information to complete the
configuration.
The installation of the AEC chambers and their calibration are covered in
the VDX system Service Manual, chapter 12 "AEC calibration (Automatic
exposure control)".
The installation of the AEC chambers and their calibration are covered in
the G100C RAD Service Manual, chapter 3 "Automatic exposure control
(AEC) calibration".

The calibration procedure begins. It will lead you to acquire flat field
images at one dose level. The operator must select correct exposure
parameters in order to reach the target grey level (e.g. 24000 in the

At the end of image acquisitions click on "Save" and restart DROC
application.
