AT THE START, I FIND THE TOPICS EASY TO ABSORB. BUT AS DAYS WENT ON, IT WAS GETTING
HARDER SPECIALLY WHEN WE STARTED DOING THE PLANNING; STAYING LONG BUT I INSISTED I
BE SPARED AT 8:00 PM FOR MY PRAYER MODE… ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT THEY WERE STILL AT
WORK UNTIL THE WEE HOURS OF PAST 12MN….SO GRATEFUL!
AFTER IDENTIFYING THE DIFFERENT HAZARDS, ITS RISK AS IMPLICATED IN THE WORKPLACE.
NOW, IT IS MY OPPORTUNITY TO RELATE THIS AT OUR WORKPLACE.
THE HIERARCHY OF CONTROL: KNOWING THEM, CAN BE CHALLENGING ON WHAT TO DO WITH
THE HAZARD OCCURING AT THE WORKPLACE.
IF A GOOD OHS PROGRAM IS CONCEIVED AND BECOMES FRUITFUL, THEN WE MIGHT HAVE THE
OPPORTUNITY TO AVOID ACCIDENTS AND AVOID DEATH AS WELL.
AS A WOMAN, I BECAME CURIOUS KNOWING MORE OF R.A. 9710. THIS SEEKS TO ACHIEVE
GENDER EQUALITY AS A FUNDAMENTAL VALUE THAT SHOULD BE REFLECTED IN THE
DEVELOPMENT CHOICES THAT WOMEN ARE ACTIVE AGENTS OF DEVELOPMENT; NOT A PASSIVE
ONE.
I REMEMBER, WHEN OUR GROUP MEMBERS WERE ALMOST FEELING EXHAUSTED, I WOULD
SAY TO THEM “LET’S DO OUTING, VISIT ME HERE IN LEYTE” HAVING YOU AS MY NEW FOUND
FRIENDS WILL EASE OUR EXHAUSTED FEELING THUS BOOSTING OUR MENTAL HEALTH. THANK
YOU FOR THE ACTIVE INTERACTION WE HAD FOR QUIET SOME TIME. THEY ARE: DR. MARIVIC
BONDESTO ON THE LEAD; SIR SAM ALIPIO ON THE SLIDE DECK; PRESENTERS, ATTY. JOCELYN
BUENAFE, AND MA’AM MALOU CANONIZADO; NOTE TAKERS, DR. ROSANNA BELLA, MA’AM
RYZELLE CERBITO, AND MA’AM KATHERINE ROSALES ALDOVINO; AND YOURS TRULY ROSARIO
TAMODTAMOD- CO FACILITATOR.
AFTER THIS TRAINING, I AM ALSO ANTICIPATING THAT IF EVER WE EXPERIENCE TURBBULENCE
OR THE ADVERSE EFFECT FOLLOWING TRAINING, WE WILL BE LOOKING FORWARD TO THE
RESCUE FROM UP-DEOH… THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
