Programme Introduction
The Short Duration Certificate Programme in Financial Management
provides the understanding of varied topics in the area of finance. The
participants will develop basic understanding of financial markets and
services. Indian financial service sector is one of the fastest growing sectors
and offers plethora of opportunities to finance professionals. The
curriculum encompasses the investment analysis and management and
delve into art and science of stock and derivatives investment. As a finance
professional, it is not only important to know the market but also to make a
thorough investigation of business risk, return and its valuation. The course
on Financial Analysis and Business Valuation makes the programme
valuable by elaborating on factors affecting the business valuation and
approaches to value a stock/business. The holistic coverage of important

Eligibility Criteria:
A: Students in the final semester of PGDM/ PGDM-Executive/ PGCM at IMT CDL
B: Alumni of IMT CDL
C: PGDM/ MBA from any other Institute
D: Any Graduate and above from any other Institute
Duration: Six months
Programme Validity: One Year from the date of enrollment

Programme structure:
Elementary Course: Financial Management

Applicable for candidates applying under the eligibility criteria D

Specialisation courses:

Management of Financial Services

Security Analysis and Portfolio Management

Financial Analysis & Business Valuation

Financial Risk Management

Mode of Delivery:
Elementary Course: Recorded Sessions
Specialization Courses: Blended mode of Learning (Live and Recorded Sessions)

Resources: All resources will be provided in digital form.

Assessment:
Participant must take the assignment of all courses in one go within fifteen days,
on the completion of sessions.
Assignment will consist of 30 questions of one mark each. To qualify assignment
the student has to score 40% i.e. 12 marks out of 30.
Programme fee and payment schedule:
• Programme Fee (inclusive of GST): INR 27,500*.
• At the time of Registration: 10% of the total fee (inclusive of GST)
• At the time of Enrolment: Balance 90% fee (inclusive of GST)

Certificate: Printed certificate will be awarded by IMT CDL

On successful completion, the participant will be awarded


Category 1:
Certificate of Completion.

If a participant exits without qualifying the assessment, s/he will be

awarded Certificate of Participation.

Note: If a participant exits without qualifying the assessment and having less
than 50% attendance in the live sessions, no certificate will be given.

*No refund allowed after one week of enrolment.
