Recognition and Moving-up Ceremony


Theme: Gradweyt ng K-12: Masigasig sa Pangarap at Matatag sa mga Pagsubok

Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for
it today. – Malcolm X

Good afternoon! We, in Midsalip National High School are grateful to be able to
celebrate our graduation and moving-up ceremony this year because we want our
completers to remember it or mark it on their calendars for the years to come. Despite
the fact that we are still dealing with the threat of COVID-19 pandemic, the fact that we
are here today to celebrate this momentous event is a great blessing for us. It signifies
the end of one phase of one’s educational journey and the beginning of another more
challenging phase of one’s quest for a better life and future.

I. Processional
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Recognition and Moving-up Ceremony of Midsalip
National High School with a theme Gradweyt ng K-12: Masigasig sa Pangarap at Matatag sa
mga Pagsubok.
To formally start our program, let us all welcome the candidates for completion with their
beloved parents, following closely are the benevolent MNHS Teaching force, Distinguished
Guests, and our tenacious DepEd Officials for their processional march.
II. Invocation and National Anthem
Please remain standing. To bless this momentous occasion, let us seek the Divine
Intervention through a multimedia presentation. Continue to stand still as we are
also about to sing our Philippine National Anthem.
III. Welcome Remarks
You may now be seated.
To set the tone for this afternoon’s event, let us put our hands together for the
welcome remarks of our FPTA President, Mr. Julius Maghanoy.

IV. Presentation of Candidates for Completion and Confirmation of the
Completers
I would like to call on our school principal, Mr. Ray G. Rosillosa, for the presentation
of candidates for completion. Confirmation by our Schools Division Superintendent,
Dr. Majarani M. Jacinto, will be followed immediately.
V. Message of the Schools Division Superintendent
At this point, help me in welcoming our compassionate matriarch Schools Division
Superintendent, Dr. Majarani M. Jacinto, as she gives her message to our learners, parents,
and stakeholders.

stakeholders.

VI. Distribution of Certificates and Awarding of Honors


After four years of hardwork and dedication, completers, it is about time to reward your
commitment towards education. Reap the fruits of your labor. Dr. Majarani M. Jacinto, the
Schools Division Superintendent and Mr. Ray G. Rosillosa, the School Principal, will lead in
the distribution of the certificates together with Respective Advisers.

VII. Introduction of the Guest Speaker


To introduce to us our guest speaker this afternoon, let us have Mrs. Rosalie Pastor, our
Midsalip National High School Filipino Coordinator.

At this point, let us award the Certificate of Appreciation to our Guest of Honor. (reads

IX. Words of Gratitude


No one who achieves success does so without acknowledging the help of others. That is
why you simply express gratitude to all beings who have contributed to their current
achievements. Words of gratitude to be delivered by Ms. Princess Glory Bugtay, With High
Honors, from Grade 10 Venus – Science Curriculum.

X. Pledge of Loyalty
We will now witness the graduates as they state their Pledge of Loyalty to their Alma Mater,
to be led by Ms. Kendra Gilbolingo, with High Honors, from Grade 10 Venus- Science
Curriculum.

XI. Moving-up Song and Finale Song


Never give up on your dreams. Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always
remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach
for your greatest dream. Fight for your dreams and your dreams will fight for you.
Ladies and gentlemen, let’s watch and listen to the completers’ moving-up song and
finale song.

XII. Acknowledgement and Closing Remarks


The art of beginning is great, but the art of ending is even greater. It is precise to
acknowledge and recognize all the working hands that made this graduation
ceremony possible. Ladies and gentlemen, our remarkable father of Midasalip
National High School, none other than our School Principal, Mr. Ray G. Rosillosa, in
his words of acknowledgement and closing remarks.

XIII. Recessional
SHS graduates, be bold, courageous, and be your best. Your journey is never-ending.
There’s always going to be growth, improvement, and adversity; you’ve just got to take it all
in and do what’s right, continue to grow, and continue to live in the moment. To dream high
is like reaching for the stars. Wherever you go, go with all your heart. If opportunity doesn’t
knock, build a door so that success will come to you. Face the challenges confidently and be
positive in overcoming them. Congratulations!
