SIMULTANEOUS MOTIONS

Simultaneous motions occur when different body members primarily the hands but
also including legs, trunk, eyes, etc. perform two activities at the same time.

Low conscious control activities:

High conscious control activities:

Rule #1: Two low conscious control activities:

1. Can be performed simultaneously.


2. Award the highest total MOD value.
3. Record highest value. Do not record the lower values

Rule #2: One low conscious control activity and one high conscious control
activity:

1. Can be performed simultaneously.


2. Award the highest total MOD value.
3. Record highest value. Do not record the lower values.

Rule #3: Two high conscious control activities:

1. Cannot be performed simultaneously.

2. Award the total MOD value for both hands.  


3. However, always reduce the higher class Movement to M2.
4. Record the adjusted values of both hands.
