IV. PROCEDURES
A. Springboard/Motivation (Establishing a purpose
for the lesson) Activity 1. (The Fish Ball Game)

Directions:
 The Teacher will show some Different Pictures of Persons.
 The Learner will pick a piece of paper inside the bowl and answer
the questions that being asked about the picture.
 What can you see in the picture?
 Why is he famous as a leader in our community?
 What kind of leader is he/she in our country?

B. Activity (Review of previous lesson/s or Activity 2: (Role-Play)

Directions:
 Divide the class into Three Groups. Ask them to read the
Scenarios for Leadership Styles. Then assign one scenario to
each group.

Group no.1
 Tina has a group project in their classroom she does not want to
be interrupted by her members. She assigned task of her
members and she want to follow her what to do.
 What kind of Leadership Styles Tina Use?

Group no .2
 Abbire is the leader in their group and they have an experiment
group project in science about how to plant a mongo seed and
they will going to pass a activity sheet and reaction paper about
their experiment.
 What kind of Leadership Styles would Abbire use to seek help to
his members?

Group no.3
 Joseph has a research activity in their company he is assign in
their team to make a reaction paper about their research and
the deadline on Monday. If you are in Joseph situation what
kind of leadership Styles will he use fir their research in their
company.

 The Teacher asks them to discuss the scenario in their groups


and select a volunteer to present their group.

 Why?
E. Discussing new concepts and practicing new Presenting the Lessons

 Continue discussing the handout on which style is approatiate.
 Refer to page 6-7 on the MyDev Module 3.

 Which style is more appropriate to you and why?

F. Abstraction (Making generalizations about the Activity 5: (Pick and Tell Something)

 The teacher will divide the class into four groups.
 The Teacher will present a different type of pictures of famous
leaders in our country.
 Each group must call a representative and pick pictures inside the
box.
 Each group must discuss on how pictures became famous leader in
our country.

of the class.

 The Teacher will group into two groups then answer the
following scenario and discuss it to the front.
Group 1
In your barangay, it is always noisy even in the middle of the night the
youth in your community Minor Age are still playing outside. As the
Brgy. Captain in your community. How will you handle the situation?
What type of leadership style are you going to used?

Group 2
As the Councilor and In charge of Health and Cleanliness in your
Barangay. Many residents are complaining that garbage were thrown
everywhere and they are afraid of contamination of illness like diarrhea
and Dengue. How will you handle the situation?
