Conditional Type 2

Conditional sentences describe possible situations and their results. There are two main types of conditional sentences. Type 2 conditional sentences are used to talk about unlikely or impossible situations in the present or future. They use the structure "if + simple past tense, + would/could/might + bare infinitive". Some examples of type 2 conditional sentences are: "If I were rich, I would travel the world", "If it weren't so expensive, I would buy a new phone", and "If she studied harder, she would get better grades."
