Light: Content Practice A

Light is part of the electromagnetic spectrum, which ranges from low-frequency radio waves to high-frequency gamma rays. The Sun emits lots of light, and most objects reflect it. A transparent material allows light to pass through and form a clear image, while a translucent material allows some light to pass through but forms a blurry image. An opaque material does not allow light to pass through. Light travels faster than sound and slows down when moving from air to water. When light interacts with matter, it can be absorbed, reflected, or refracted.
