Life Balance Wheel With Instructions

This document introduces a "Life Balance Wheel" activity to help understand the balance and importance of different areas of one's life. It explains that the goal is not to have equal balance in all areas, but to identify "sweet spots" and areas needing improvement. The reader is prompted to identify 10 important areas of their life, rank each on a 1-10 scale, and complete the balance wheel to analyze where they feel full or lacking. The wheel is intended to help set goals and focus on improving less balanced areas.

My Life Balance Wheel.

Welcome to your Life Balance Wheel!!!

This activity will help us see the balance of your life as well
as help me understand the areas of your life that are most
important to you at this point in your life.

Within the 10 sections of your Life Balance Wheel you will

gauge the fullness and the balance of your life. The goal of
this activity is to have a better understanding of where you
feel full or satiated in your life and where you feel there
might be tending needed. This exercise can bring these areas
of your life into better awareness and help you see the
possible interconnectedness of the different aspects of your
life as well and how they impact your world.

In this understanding of balance we are not speaking of all

aspects of life being equal, but instead we are looking for
the sweet spots of your life - where things are just right.

I have left the 10 sections blank so that you may choose

which aspects of your life are most important to you.

Think of the areas of your life that matter most to you as an

individual as well as the areas that support you functioning
at your highest capacity in the world. For example: Art or
Dance may be crucial to my wellness as an individual, but
Money or Finances may be crucial for my functioning in the
world. Or I may notice how much my Physical Environment
(space, home, town, etc.) impacts my wellness individually,
and that Spiritual Growth is crucial to the way that I
function in the world because it is what I do for my work.
This Balance Wheel is uniquely yours to decide and define.

Now take a moment and think of the different areas of your life that are most important to you.
If you are feeling stuck, here are some
examples of possible larger topics:

Career, Health, Money, Family,

A speci c role you hold in the
world, Spirituality,
Fun/ Recreations,
Partnership/Romance,
Personal Growth, Friends/Social
Engagement. Physical
Environment…

More specific areas that might be very

important to a person in their sense of
wholeness:

Writing, Making Art,

Dance, Education, Meditation,
Making Music, Eating Well…

Once you have your 10 areas defined

enter them on to the horizontal lines that
are attached to the Balance Wheel.

Next, within each section of your Balance Wheel rank each section from the scale of 1-10, fill in the rings of that section up to
the level in which you chose it is at.

You can complete your Life Balance Wheel in color or in pen and ink, whatever works best for you! But I invite you to really
make it something that will serve you on your journey of personal growth and development. You will use this Balance Wheel to
get clear on where you need to set goals in your life - or where you feel the balance is good and you can feel a sense of
accomplishment in that area and can focus on other areas that need your attention.

One you have completed labeling and ranking the different areas of you life sit back and take a look at your Balance Wheel. See
if there is anything that strikes you as notable - or see if you notice any connections that you may have not been aware of
before.

For instance on my Balance Wheel one of my sections is my Work, which I ranked at a 6 because I can feel the growth that is
happening but I am also recognizing the eventual need for growth so that my work can become more established and
sustainable, and right next to my work is My Home which is also a 6, and in this area I am feeling the satiation of this
experience, but once again I am noticing the need for growth or change, then there is the area of Wellness/Health which is right
above work is at a 3 because I feel the lack in that area of my life. And as I sit back and look at my Balance Wheel I became
aware of the impact of my wellness and my health on my work, and I can also see the impact of my home life on my wellness.

Once you have completed filling in the different areas of your life and the different levels please send me a copy so that I can
take the next steps with you when we meet for your discovery session.

We will complete this form together during our first discovery session.

Looking forward to seeing you soon!
