    MAFCO – RAPID CURING RC-250

    Product Description:

    Is cold applied rapid curing (RC) cutback asphalt consisting of penetration grade asphalt cement and
    diluents or ‘cutter’ of high volatility the diluent temporarily reduces the viscosity of the asphalt cement for
    ease of handling and application. After application the diluent evaporates, leaving the asphalt cement to
    perform its function.

    MAFO Cutback RC-250 conforms to the specifications


    Of ASTM D2028 (Rapid -Curing Asphalt) or AASHTO M81.

    Intended Uses:

    Major use for MAFCO Cutback MC-70 is in the road maintenance industry where it is used as a tack coat,
    chip seal, fog seal. Usual application is by spray using a distributor. Other uses include the following:

    • Roofing: As a waterproofing membrane and as an adhesive to stick chippings onto a flat, horizontal roof
    to minimize the effects of weathering from the sun.
    • Damp-Proof Courses: Used as damp-proof membranes in concrete floors particularly for small repairs or
    where extensions are keyed-in to existing structures.
    • Fish Net Coating: To prolong service life of fish net

    Safe Handling and Storage:

    Handling:

    • Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing.


    • Avoid breathing vapor, spray or mists.
    • Do not breathe fumes which may accumulate in the vapor head-space of containers.

    Storage:

    • Keep drums in a cool, well-ventilated place.


    • Keep away from sources of ignition.
    • Prevent ingress of wate

    Safety:

    Flammable liquid keep away from naked flame, apply in well ventilated Area.

    ( 200 / 160 / 140 Liter Drums / 18 Liter Pails / Bulk Supply in Tankers )
