How to manage Zoiper

Instructions

First let’s understand the interface we are working with.

Search
Right below the Default account, you can find the Search field

The Search field could be used to - dial a number, that you have entered in this
field; search for a name, number, company, or any other field found in the contact
entry itself.

Dialpad

With the dialpad, one can enter manually digits and signs, if needed, and dial like
that.
Check for Voicemail

Please open dialpad on your zoiper application and type *98 and click “Dial”

Once you click Dial, you will be prompted to input your phone extension number,
please click on keypad this will show you the keypad and type your extension
number
You will then be prompted to type your voicemail password, the default password
is “1234”

You will then be able to hear any voicemails you have store on your messages.

How to change your voicemail greeting

Just as you did to access your voicemail messages, you will do to change the
voicemail recording.

Please dial *98 on your keppad and click “Dial”

You will again be prompted to type your extension number as well as your
password
Once you have done the above step the operator will then provide you with a
menu list to choose from please choose option “Change voicemail settings” or
dial “0” on your keypad

You will be then prompted with 2 options “ press 1 to record your unavailable
mesage or press 2 to record your busy message”. Depending on the message
you are going to record please choose the option accordingly. Once you choose
the option you will then be prompted to record your voicemail message.
How to transfer calls on Zoiper

You have 2 ways to transfer the call, unattended or attended.

Attended Transfer
It is used when you first need to inform the third party about the call.
Once you have the person on the line please click hold buttom, this will place the
current call on hold.
Please click the dialpad icon on the left side of your phonetool and the dialpad
will display, type the extension or phone number you wish to transfer to and click
“Dial”
Once you click dial you will be able to see both calls, the call on hold and the current call where
you are trying to transfer.

Once the other person picks up you can click Transfer icon and the call will automatically
disconnect
Transfer calls unnattended

Once you have the person on the line please click the dialpad icon on the left
side of your phonetool and the dialpad will display, type the extension or phone
number you wish to transfer to and click “Dial”

Once you click dial click on “transfer” and the call will automatically transfer to the extension or
phone number dialed
