Planting Trees for the Future
MAIN IDEAS
Climate change refers to long-term changes in temperatures and
weather patterns, and it is obvious that climate change is intensifying
globally over time. Climate change may be natural, yet human activities
have a significant role in why it is escalating. Deforestation is one of the
human activities that contribute to climate change caused by
agricultural expansion or infrastructural development. So we created a
program called "Planting Trees for the Future," which attempts to
educate people about the value of trees in our environment. Aside from
trees provide us with clean air, it also helps in the prevention of major
floods and landslides, particularly during typhoons. Also, one of the
reason why we chose this program to implement is because the next
generations will not experience the aggravation of climate change
because if we continue to let people cut down trees in the forest, it will
have a massive effect on us and future generations, and they may no
longer be able to breathe fresh air, see relaxing scenery, and see
animals because their home has been permanently destroyed.
