Introduction
This project is a Job Portal Management System. This is a web-based application
project developed in PHP, CodeIgniter 3 Framework, and MySQL Database. This
project provides an online platform for browsing or finding Job Opportunities. This
system also allows the companies to publish or post their vacancies of job openings.
The application has a simple and pleasant user interface with the help of Bootstrap
Framework. It also consists of simple and user-friendly features and functionalities
to give users a better experience while using the app.

About the Job Portal Management System


I developed this project using the following:
 XAMPP v3.3.0

 CodeIgniter 3 Framework
 MySQL Database

 Font Awesome

This Online Job Portal Management System Project in CodeIgniter is accessible to


anyone. The company's HR Staff or Head Hunters can simply create their account by
filling all the required fields on the registration form. Registered users can post their
job opportunities until the date they desired. Here, public visitors or possible
applicants can explore and browse the different available job opportunities posted
by the companies. Job posts contain relevant information about the company, job,
and contact information. Job Seekers can also search for jobs or filter job lists by
location and salary range.

How to Run ??
Requirements

 Download and Install any local web server such as XAMPP.


 Download the provided source code zip file. (download button is located
below)

System Installation/Setup

1. Open your XAMPP Control Panel and start Apache and MySQL.


2. Extract the downloaded source code zip file.
3. Copy the extracted source code folder and paste it into the XAMPP's "htdocs"
directory.
4. Browse the PHPMyAdmin in a browser. i.e. http://localhost/phpmyadmin
5. Create a new database naming jpms_db.
6. Import the provided SQL file. The file is known as jpms_db.sql located inside
the Database folder.
7. Browse the Job Portal Management System in a browser.
i.e. http://localhost/ci_jpms/.
