There are several negative impacts of manufacturing including increasing social
problems in urban areas, environmental pollution, depletion of natural
resources, wealth inequality, increasing structural unemployment in the
agricultural sector, increasing imports of raw materials, negative foreign
investment effects, exploitation of workers, and less time for family. Therefore
manufacturing remains flexible and reactive to changes.
Stage 2: Achieving parity with competitors: capital investment is the primary means of
pursuing competition or achieving competitive advantage. Ways to strengthen
the business include strengthening the brand you have, knowing business
competitors, actively promoting, recognizing consumer habits, using internet
marketing
Stage 3: Provide credible support for business strategy: manufacturing strategy is
formulated and executed. Long-term manufacturing developments and trends
are handled systematically. implementing a business strategy by taking into
account the main factors in realizing manufacturing excellence.
Stage 4: Pursuing a manufacturing-based competitive advantage: The manufacturing
department is in the same position as the sales, marketing, engineering, and
finance departments in discussions to determine strategy. Cooperation between
departments in the manufacturing industry is needed in order to create a
company that is able to compete.
2. Indonesia as one of the largest countries in the world turns out to have various
important roles among countries in Southeast Asia. Among these roles, the most

stated that the manufacturing industry in Indonesia has the ability to be more productive
and has a wide chain effect. In this way, an increase in the added value of raw

to demand.

Today's manufacturing excellence can be seen from the performance of
manufacturing organizations and can be the reason why companies will get radical
sales growth, service improvements, and profits. in addition to product quality, the
quality of human resources is also very important to create a manufacturing company
that is ready to compete in the era of globalization. In running a manufacturing
company, we need accurate tricks so that the business does not lose out to
competitors. increasing productivity, quality control, promoting innovation, and
managing capital. Efficient manufacturing techniques also allow manufacturers to take
advantage of economies of scale in order to produce more units at a lower cost.
Economically, manufacturing companies in Indonesia contribute a lot in improving
people's welfare because they provide many jobs.

departments who constantly complain about too long lead times or poor delivery

Employee Engagement is the level of commitment and enthusiasm that employees
have towards the company as well as their own work. In other words, employee
engagement is a scalable and mutually beneficial investment for both the company
and employees. when employees engage effectively with a company, they're not just
working for money, they'll see value in their contribution to the company and genuinely
want to be successful with the team. Basically, employee involvement motivates
