from the colonial era such as the Cathedral of Lima, the Archbishop's Palace and the
Government Palace of Peru. Then you can go see the Magic Water Circuit, where music,
sound, water, and laser lights mix to witness impressive displays. In addition, it is
inevitable not to visit the streets of Barranco. There are very beautiful areas to walk around,
many restaurants and in it you can enjoy the best urban art in the city. Also, another precise
place to see is the Miraflores boardwalk, since it has incredible views towards the sea. It’s a
beautiful place where you can see live paragliding jumps, quite a show.
On the other hand, in Lima you can see many pre-Inca archaeological sites such as the
Huaca Pucllana and Incas such as the ruins of Pachacamac with temples dedicated to the
sun, the moon, etc.
There are many places to eat in Lima, some expensive, others quite accessible.
Astrid & Gastón, by the Peruvian chef Gastón Acurio, is one of the flagship restaurants of
Lima's gastronomic culture. It is an elegant but expensive restaurant, with very good
service and a variety of delicious dishes. There is a lot of variety in wines, cocktails and
soft drinks.
Other places where you can eat delicious and not so expensive are the food areas of the
shopping centers. There you will find from typical dishes such as lomo saltado, rice with
chicken, aji de gallina, to hamburgers, pizzas and pastas. Also, there are many patisseries
where you can eat a purple porridge, tres leches, etc. As well as some restaurant with
