WHAT CAN YOU SEE IN LIMA?

First, visit the Plaza de Armas, a historical place in Peru where you can see old buildings
from the colonial era such as the Cathedral of Lima, the Archbishop's Palace and the
Government Palace of Peru. Then you can go see the Magic Water Circuit, where music,
sound, water, and laser lights mix to witness impressive displays. In addition, it is
inevitable not to visit the streets of Barranco. There are very beautiful areas to walk around,
many restaurants and in it you can enjoy the best urban art in the city. Also, another precise
place to see is the Miraflores boardwalk, since it has incredible views towards the sea. It’s a
beautiful place where you can see live paragliding jumps, quite a show.
On the other hand, in Lima you can see many pre-Inca archaeological sites such as the
Huaca Pucllana and Incas such as the ruins of Pachacamac with temples dedicated to the
sun, the moon, etc.

WHERE CAN YOU EAT IN LIMA?

There are many places to eat in Lima, some expensive, others quite accessible.
Astrid & Gastón, by the Peruvian chef Gastón Acurio, is one of the flagship restaurants of
Lima's gastronomic culture. It is an elegant but expensive restaurant, with very good
service and a variety of delicious dishes. There is a lot of variety in wines, cocktails and
soft drinks.
Other places where you can eat delicious and not so expensive are the food areas of the
shopping centers. There you will find from typical dishes such as lomo saltado, rice with
chicken, aji de gallina, to hamburgers, pizzas and pastas. Also, there are many patisseries
where you can eat a purple porridge, tres leches, etc. As well as some restaurant with
foreign food.

WHAT CAN YOU DO IN THIS CITY?


You can visit a lot of places, like center square in lima center. If you like animals you can
go to the zoo, or if you want a quiet moment you could go to the Beach in "green coast",
also you can go everywhere in our tourism bus.
Also you can do sports, like playing football, volleybal in national stadium. Inside there,
you could know our top players in all times.
Something that you couldn't lose, is the food. Peruvian food is the better in the world, since
the soup until the dessert, you will love it.
If you want to know about our past, you could do a trip to the "Huacas", we have more than
50 Huacas in Lima, there are
Being cared by the culture ministry, to keep in great condition those archaic cities, to know
a little more about our culture.
WHERE CAN YOU BUY IN LIMA?
If you want to buy clothes, you can visit Gamarra, there are a lot of stands and you have
variety. Also Gamarra is the biggest shopping center in Lima. If you are in Lima, you have
to visit, is our culture and you can know a little more about peruvian actitudes.
If you want something expensive or an original brand, you should visit Real Plaza or Mall
Aventura, There are too many stands but the majority are abroad brands, like Adidas, nike,
reebok,etc.
In "Jiron de la Unión" You will find some souvenirs, there is cheap and also you could find
gift shops near there.
