Greetings of peace, health, and goodwill!

The school extends its appreciation to your good office for your continued support and
patronage throughout the health crisis. We were able to deliver quality education with the
careful dissemination of vital information and coordination with our offices that led to the
accomplishment of the school goals, vision, and mission.

Guided by Republic Act 11650 (An Act Instituting A Policy of Inclusion and Services for
Learners with Disabilities in Support of Inclusive Education, Establishing Inclusive Learning
Resource Centers of Learners with Disabilities in All Schools Districts, Municipalities And Cities)
and DepEd Order No. 023, s. 2022 (Child Find Policy for Learners with Disabilities), we would
like to inform your office that our school through the service of our Special Education teachers,
shall conduct Child Find and Child Mapping within the school community and the barangay.

Child Find refers to the identification, location, and evaluation of children above the age of five,
with disabilities or at risk for developing disabilities who need special education and related
services to facilitate their inclusion into the general basic education system (United Nations,
n.d.). Whereas Child Mapping refers to the process of locating and gathering basic information
on the status of learner with disabilities in the community for screening, referral, and registration.

In this light, aside from the above-mentioned activities, we hope for commitment, collaboration,
and active participation on this endeavor as part of our Inter-agency Coordination.

Isang magandang araw po.

Nais ipaabot ng aming paaralan ang malaking pasasalamat sa patuloy ninyong pagbibigay
suporta simula noong magkaroon ng pandemya. Naibigay ng mga guro ang de-kalidad na
edukasyon sa pamamagitan ng maingat na pagpapabatid ng mahahalagang impormasyon at
mabuting koordinasyon ng aming paaralan sa inyong opisina. Ang mga ito ay nagbigay daan
upang maisakatuparan ng paaralan ang mithiin, bisyon at misyon nito.

Sa gabay ng Republic Act 11650 (An Act Instituting A Policy of Inclusion and Services for
Learners with Disabilities in Support of Inclusive Education, Establishing Inclusive Learning
Resource Centers of Learners with Disabilities in All Schools Districts, Municipalities And Cities)
at DepEd Order No. 023, s. 2022 (Child Find Policy for Learners with Disabilities), nais naming
ipabatid sa inyong opisina na ang aming paaralan ay magsasagawa ng Child Find at Child
Mapping na awain sga mga lugar na kalapit ng paaralan at sa barangay. Ang gawaing ito ay
isasagawa ng mga guro na nagtuturo ng Special Education.

Ang Child Find ay tumutukoy sa pagtukoy, paghahanap, at pagtataya sa mga batang may
edad na lima pataas at may kapansanan o kahinaan na nangangailangan ng espesyal na
edukasyon at iba pang kaugany na serbisyo upang magabayan silang maging bahagi ng
pangunahing edukasyon. (United Nations,n.d.). Ang Child Mapping naman ay ang proseso ng
paghahanap at pagtitipon ng mga pangunahing impormasyon sa estado o kalagayan ng mag-
aaral na may kapansanan na nakatira sa target na komunidad upang isailalim sa pagtataya,
pagpapatala at pagpapabatid sa mga taong kaugnay ng gawaing ito.

Kaugnay nito, maliban pa sa mga nabanggit na gawain, umaasa kami sa inyong lubos na
pakikisangkot, pakikipagtulungan at aktibong partisipasyon sa gawaing ito.

Ipinapaabot namin ang aming taos pusong pasasalamat sa inyong suporta sa gawaing ito.
