To our ever passionate AC Manager and ACLC College of Iriga City Inc School Director, Dr.

Emmalyn P. Sirios. To energetic and spirited trainer Sir Eric P. Dayao, to all of my high-powered
and driven classmates in Events Management Services NCIII and friends. Ladies and Gentlemen,
a pleasant afternoon to everyone. “Happy endings come after a story with lots of ups and
downs.” Indeed, this training program gave us an unforgettable memories to some, bad and
good. Well, that’s how life works, isn’t it? Sometimes, Good times become Good memories and
bad times become good lessons.
Before grabbing this opportunity, I was so clueless despite the fact that I’ve already been here
for about three years now. All I knew was this is a training given by the TESDA alongside CSS,
CCS and Bookkeeping. In fact, I was even doubting of entering here at first but in the end, I
ended up here. And what’s even funnier, I’m here in front giving a speech.
It has been 4 weeks since the day we started meeting here in the same room. From the TIP
which was conducted virtually, going to the Brigada in Central School with no bolo, broom or
dustpan. Some of us were even flabbergasted to the fact that we didn’t even do anything aside
from posing in front of the camera like we were cleaning and all but actually not. This is the
exact irony of what happened to some of us, evident to the pictures taken in the AVP a while
ago, they were the true Brigada volunteers. Kudos guys!
Those are some of the experiences that will really make this training of ours worth not
forgetting, aside from censoriously (critical) disparaging (mapangutya) BSRS. Muntik pa tayong
mabawasan ng allowance. And we wouldn’t allow that, right? Thanks to ma’am Emz and ma’am
Laine, they were always in the office trying to iron the tangled time-ins and outs we committed.
We indeed all worked hard to get this point, from the beautification of our own company logo
and taglines to the unending financial analysis where we all learned how to be experts in giving
prices. This is when I learned how to create profits from hundreds of thousands to millions. This
is also when I learned the foods Salsa Putanesca, Puto de Locca and the pinangat special with
fireworks of ma’am Rose. And of course, that puto is too good to serve in a 5-star hotel. But
kidding aside, doing the systematic procedures of event proposals really have given us
invaluable learnings and discoveries. To name a few, it is never good to say “Hi Mr and Mrs
Client, we are scheduled next week to go to the OKADA Hotel for a SIGHT SEEING”.
To our ever radiant AC Manager and school director, Dr. Emmalyn P. Sirios, we thank you po for
your unending love and support to the batch 2022, We wouldn’t be here without your
willingness and eagerness in giving us the quality training program and assessment center in
this field. And also, for considering us, your teachers be part of this group, you always prioritize
our welfare, improvement and development as a person and as a professional.
To our trainer, sir Eric Dayao. Thank you for sharing your time, expertise, and talent with us.
You took the time to explain and repeat the assignments to us, even sometime we’d like you to
repeat it because we don’t understand it or we weren’t paying attention, especially during
financial analysis. You put some efforts to make our day more interesting just to light our mood
particularly during the days before assessment. Thank you for giving us advices… actually lots of
guides tips for the assessment.
To the school’s office staffs especially ma’am Laine, thank you for making sure our documents
are complete, for untiringly reminding us things about the training requirements and all. For
being the facilitator of our GC, for completing and running through our BSRS attendances, the
signatures, the letter of justifications. You made yourself busy just to make our training run
smoothly.
And of course, to Kenny. Our Officer-in-Charge when it comes to the registration to the BSRS,
for reminding us when to log in, when to log out. For keeping our morning, funny, and tired
faces confidential during BSRS biometrics. Thank you!
To my classmates, co-teachers, friends… thank you so much for the bonding. Even most of the
time, I’m upstairs doing my Company Profile. For the laughs, for the kindness of your hearts, for
the sharing of thoughts and ideas, and to the over-all memories!
Special mention to Hans Labios for the tarpaulin lay out, and of course to ma’am Jie-Ann,
ma’am Alexis and ma’am Cha. For the manpower in completing the venue preparation and the
materials needed for today’s ceremony. Hindi ininda ni ma’am Jie-Ann ang baba at taas para
bumili ng yarn.
Finally, to our Almighty God, thank you for the continuous blessings. For the strength each day
and for the people around us who make our life more meaningful.
The best way to our gratitude is to make the most of the opportunity we’ve been given, and
being ready for our future. Again, to those who have been part of this success, we say an
infinite gratitude to you. May we all become a successful Events Planner and organizer that
caters satisfaction to all our future clients.
Thank you for everything and you deserve a round of applause!
