Pabirik Festival

 Pabirik (Gold-Panning) Festival Honors the Gold Mining Industry


 celebrated every last week of January up to the day of town fiesta on the second day of
February (January 23 – Feburary 2) in Paracale, Camarines Norte, this coincides with the
Foundation Anniversary of the town’s patron saint, Our Lady of Candelaria.
 The highlight of the event is the Pabirik Street Dancing Competition. All schools in Paracale
competed showing different representation how Nuestra Señora De Candelaria defended the
town against the Moro invaders.
 Pabirik means “pan” which is a medium used by the natives of Paracale in gold panning.

 Pinyasan (Pineapple) Festival

 It is considered to be the most colorful festival in the province of Camarines Norte.

 The festival showcases the province's primary agricultural product which is the pineapple called
"Queen of Formosa".

 Camarines Norte is distinguished for producing rich, sweet pineapples in the Philippines. The
province is one of the leading producers of pineapples in the country.

 The festival aspires to promote the town's culture, agricultural product, and tourism.

 held every June 15-24. It started in 1992, commenced by Mayor Tito Sarte Sariond.

 Every year, the festival features different programs and activities such as float exhibition, street
dancing presentation, agro-industrial fair, various competitions and many other exciting
activities.

Bantayog Festival

 Celebrated every April 2 - May 6

 Historical commemorating festival in Camarines Norte that features the first Rizal monument
which is also the centerpiece of the celebration held simultaneous with the foundation
anniversary of the province.

Palong Festival
 The Palong festival coincides with the feast of the Black Nazarene and is celebrated through
street dancing and an agro-industrial fair to which the natives express their gratitude for the
abundance of ornamental plants known as rooster combs or “palong manok”.

Kadagatan festival

 celebrated by fishermen to give respect, express gratitude and recognize Mother Nature for the
vast marine resources the town of Mercedes are blessed with.

Mambulawan festival

 Mambulawan festival coincides with the Feast of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary.

Annual Bagasbas Beach International Eco-Arts Festival

 Annual Bagasbas Beach International Eco-Arts Festival features art as an inter-cultural linkage
with artists and the community. It showcases art exhibit to promote environmentally-friendly
art production.
