your subtitle file in one quick

Spell Check (Languages without built-in spell check)
Currently Atlas only has spell check for certain languages. You can still check
your work for typos by doing the following:
1. Download the SRT from the PROJECT menu (upper left corner in Atlas)
2. Open the SRT in any text editing software (TextEdit, Microsoft Word,
EditPad, etc.)
3. Check the spelling and save
4. Import the SRT file back into Atlas.
Note: if you make any changes to the timing or by changing the spelling a
caption group becomes longer than 60 characters in length you will not be able
to re-import the SRT.
13
Add to Dictionary (select languages only)
If you encounter a word that spell check does NOT recognize as a correct
spelling, yet you know it to be so, you can add this word to your dictionary so
that spell check will not highlight it in the future.
While this might change in the future, for now you can disregard this rule.
Captions Duration
Captions cannot last longer than 5 seconds, even if it takes longer than 5
seconds for the speaker to complete his oration.
If you want to switch between computers during a job, please make sure you
work online.
18
Unclaim
As soon as you know you will
not be able to submit a project,
please unclaim it.
19
Submission Checker
When you are done, use the Submit button to complete your project. Rev will
run a quick check and let you know if we find any errors.
Here are some of the things that Rev’s submission check will catch:
● Blank caption groups
● Captions over 60 characters
20
Submission in Atlas
Once you are done creating your subtitles, submit at the top right.
While we have a basic error checker, be careful. You cannot undo this action.
All submissions are final. If you think you have made an error, please contact
support. 21
