platform to experience to build strong professional connections, and understand the process and
significance of Networking at a global level. Being a native of India, I am familiar with the
challenges the Indian market currently faces thus making me prepared to cater to the demands of

Master Of Networking:

A desire to extend my knowledge and an enthusiasm to solve the demanding problems faced by
the industry today, motivated me to pursue Master’s in Networking. I believe that my
educational background has instilled in me the qualities required to meet the rigor of this
demanding course, and subsequently, the profession. I bring along with me a strong grasp of
fundamentals in Electronics, unique but relevant work experience, along with a desire to learn, a
penchant for teamwork and leadership, and a zest for challenges.
The Master of Networking has been developed in consultation with a broad industry advisory
panel. This major prepares students for a future career in various industries, because it capitalizes
on the intersection of two fast growing fields Networking and Software Engineering. Graduates
can play a crucial role in transforming businesses by applying their Networking and software
engineering skills.
 TRAFFIC CONTROL : Developing an automatic detection system using Internet of
Things devices.
 RETAIL : Designing a MAC address detection system to prevent petrol theft.
 DIGITAL LIBRARY : Building an Artificial Intelligence analytical framework using big
data.
 ONLINE RETAIL STORE : Creating a secure cloud-based multi-authentication
biometric password framework.
 LIFESTYLE IMPROVEMENT : Design and development of an animal flap with facial
recognition techniques.
 IMAGING AND DATA PROCESSING : Comparative analysis of locally-sensitive
hashing algorithm and similarity digest on images.
I have a keen interest to continue my further study in the same sector with a hope to be a
successful person and it is also easy for me to understand networking because I am very much
passionate about science and technology. In this generation, networking is very essential to
collect important data and information and access it with mobility.  Likewise, networking
technology has become an integral part of business activities too. Most importantly, my
homeland is a developing country and the advancement of modern technologies can be seen in
fewer numbers due to the lack of professionals. So, employment in various sectors such as online
banking, business, telemedicine, education and so on is vacant. The purpose of obtaining this
degree is to gain theoretical and practical knowledge in this field and to prepare me for a wide
range of employment as well as to share my knowledge to the upcoming generation. Thus, to
thwart the negative impacts that are caused by advanced technology and for the sake of
controlling cyber-crimes such as hacking, misuse of personal contents, computer viruses and
transfer of viruses through networking, I have decided to study Master of Networking.

Future Plans:

My primary motivation for travelling to Australia is to receive a highly competent and advanced
education that will help me to obtain a high-level professional job in India when I return. I have
several reasons to return to India after the completion of the course, which supports my goals as
a student who wants to pursue higher education in Australia before returning to India to begin a
successful professional career. Employers in India, which has a huge number of employment
openings, are willing to pay Postgraduates with advanced skill sets a premium wage package. I
have an inquisitive personality, and if I am interested in anything, I want to learn everything I
can about it. This has allowed me to build several networks that will be useful once I return to
India.
I was born and raised in India, where all my friends and relatives have provided me with
emotional support throughout my life. I am lucky to have friends with such sincere and pure
souls that genuinely celebrate my modest victories. When I told them about my aspirations to
pursue higher study in Australia, they were overjoyed. All of my cousins and family members
are in India. My sibling and I have a special bond that cannot be broken. They have always been
very supportive and caring towards me who I will be missing whiles my stay in Australia. I want
to stay under the blanket of their abundance of love, care, and sharing. As a result, when I finish
my education, I intend to return to my home country and balance my personal and professional
lies.
My most important reason to return to my home country is my family, which goes without
saying. My family makes me happy and gives me all I require. My family means the world to
me. My parents have made numerous sacrifices for me but now my parents are growing older,
and they need constant care. Being an obedient child, it is my responsibility to support my
parents’ well-being and any other need. My parents have made me what I am today, no matter
what I do I will never be able to return what my parents did for me, but I am thankful to my
parents for all the efforts they have done for me. My parents are the reason for my success and
my success will be complete only when I share it with my parents. Thus after completion of my
chosen program, I will come back to India.
Therefore, the above-mentioned reasons state my clear intention of traveling to Australia for
educational purposes and show my strong roots in India, and justify my true intentions to return
to my home country, India, after the completion of my study.

Why Australia Why Not Other Countries.

Pursuing my dream education in a foreign country like Australia enables me to broaden my

horizon. I have chosen Australia because of the following

· World class education: As one of the favorite destinations for international students,
Australia takes pride in their world class standard of education. Professional bodies monitor
all the schools and universities in the country to ensure consistency and competitiveness.
Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and advanced technology, education institutions also
offer abundant resources and a comfortable learning environment. Lecturers and Faculty
members in the universities or schools are highly trained and experienced to guide and build
the foundation of the career you wish to pursue.
· Wide range of subjects: There are over 40 universities in Australia, and each of them offers
vast and varied opportunities to study a range of different subjects. Most study abroad
students prefer the larger universities, where they can pick from just as many courses of
study as any major American universities. For example, the Australian National University
offers a staggering 750 possible course combinations. This means that not only you will be
able to take courses related to your major; you can also broaden your spectrum of learning by
taking offbeat courses that you may not be able to find in your local Institutions.

· Scholarship Options: There are many scholarships, grants, and bursaries which can help
support you financially with your studies in Australia. They are offered by the Australian
Government, Education Providers, and a number of other public and private organisations.
The major scholarship programs available for international students are: Australian Awards,
Destination Australian Program (DAP), Australian Government Research Training program
(RTP), Australia APEC women in research Fellowship and many more. Australia awards
over 1,000 scholarships of up to 15,000 AUD per student each year for domestic and
international students. So, this gives a fair chance of getting scholarships if I study well.

· Broader career opportunities: My experience in living and studying in Australia as a non-

local resident is an interesting factor for potential employers. Having survived and
successfully completed my study tells a lot about my character and intellect. I possess
intangible life skills such as adaptability, flexibility, and enthusiasm to learn and to face
challenges along the way. My ability to see things differently is a real charm for future
employers. It’s a sign that I am capable to thinking out of box and I genuinely enjoy
innovation and creation of new ventures.

· Discovering more about you: Studying overseas is more than books and lectures. This life
enriching phase in your life may lead you to discover new interests, skills or talents. There
are heaps of interesting clubs and organizations that you can be involved with and work with
like-minded individuals. You can also join volunteer groups, addressing environmental
issues, supporting social things etc. your newly discovered passion will benefit your overall
growth and development as a person.

· Lifelong Friends and networking: a significant part of your journey to study abroad is
meeting people. They will come from diverse background and ethnicities. Each and everyone
have a different story, personality, and character, opening a window beyond your own
culture, appreciating the similarities and differences. You will have plenty of opportunities to
participate in events organized in your campus or festivals happening in the city.

Also, climate in Australia is similar to that of India, when compared to other foreign counties
like (Canada, US and Germany), which is the main advantage for me. In addition, Australia has
largest Diaspora of Indian community which makes me feel like home. Apart from that,
Australia has five of the best 30 cities in the world in which Melbourne is 3 rd best place for
student’s life and also best city to live as mentioned by Economist Intelligence Unit’s (EIU)
2017 global livability survey on 140 cities in the world and one of the most appealing aspect of
this country for international students is the quality of scientific research. Australia also offers
excellent value of money and standard of living that is among the highest in the world. This
country has a low crime rate and strict gun control laws and stable government providing a safe
environment. International students are able to work part time while they study, allowing them to
offset their living costs. This is a great opportunity for those who want to offset living expenses
during their stay, and for students who want to gain work experience in their field of interest
while they study. So, the above reasons have made me to pursue my masters in Australia and I
unequivocally think that this is the best decision I have ever made in my career.

Information regarding research done on similar programs being taught in home

country:

Keeping my goal and target in my mind, Master of Networking major in Software Engineering,
Melbourne seems to be an excellent and brilliant course for carrying my career ahead to its peak
as doing a qualification at an international level will carry more weight-age.

There is no denying that there are many institutions available in my country such as the
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in Hyderabad and Osmania University in Hyderabad
and so on which offer similar courses like MS (Information technology), MS(Networks), MS
(Computer Science and Engineering). But there are multiple factors which contribute to getting
admission like one has to clear the entrance exams such as NEET and PGCET then the limited
number of seats in such institutions.

Moreover, in India reservation system is followed for admissions so that’s why my chances of
getting admission are quite low. Secondly, the course curriculum is quite different from the
curriculum of Australian colleges and universities. Moreover, In Australia, the approach of
teaching is practical with programs like Capstone and MIT Mentor Program along with the use
of the latest techniques and updated syllabus which makes the student industry-ready graduate
and this increases the chances of a fresh graduate to be a part of one of the leading organizations
of the world. Even the modes of delivering education are well furnished as the latest technologies
are being used to impart education to the students such as Hi Tech Multimedia Labs equipped
with projectors or other audio-visual aids and so on.

Moreover while studying in my home country I cannot get the benefits that can be gained while
studying abroad such as international exposure which would add extra weight to my resume to
get good jobs in future. Secondly, by studying in an English speaking country I can improve my
communication skills. Last but not the least, the value and recognition of an international degree
due to the latest business techniques and understanding of the advanced economy are always
higher than a local degree especially in one of the most emerging markets like India today.
Hence internationally qualified candidates are always preferred comparatively. Due to all these
merits of overseas education, I have decided to have an international degree rather a domestic
one.

Reasons highlighting why applicant has chosen Melbourne Institute of Technology

and not any other education provider in Australia

MIT is registered by Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) as an Institute
of higher education (TEQSA Provider Identification Number: 12138) and our courses are
accredited by TEQSA. TEQSA is Australia’s independent national regulator of the higher
education sector including public universities in Australia. TEQSA ensures that all public and
private higher education providers meet the Higher Education Standards Framework or the
Threshold Standards in order to be accredited to deliver tertiary level programs within
Australia’s higher education system. MIT is also registered on the Commonwealth Register of
Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS Provider No: 102710k) to provide
courses for overseas students.

While in comparison with other universities like Deakin, Western Sydney, Swinburne, and CQU
offering the similar course but MIT made me choose the study of Master of Networking major
in Software Engineering as this course will have more flexible academic credentials for the
specialization selection with effective infrastructure than the other universities, comparing the
fee structure from other universities in Australia MIT is more affordable, the university has
scholarships based on academic eligibility. With flexible teaching styles and smaller classes, I’ll
get what I need to succeed. The staff at MIT uses innovative methods, like the flipped classroom,
designed to help us learn. MIT campus in Melbourne is located on 288 La Trobe St Melbourne
VIC 3000 Australia compared to other state universities MIT Melbourne campus fee is
affordable that is $10,609.00 per trimester and is very affordable compared to other Institutes and
Universities in Australia and the course structure is progressive. I really found programs like
Capstone and MIT Mentor program very impressive which would enable me for tomorrow. So I
believe my interest along with the proper atmosphere can bring out the best in me. As I found
teaching team at MIT is highly knowledgeable and dedicated.

I seek admission in your university as I believe that my zeal if pursued in the proper atmosphere
like that of your institute will bring out the best I have to offer. The essence of a college
education lies in the success of the symbiotic relationship between the students and the
department. My choice of your university is backed by the prestige it carries. It would also help
me achieve my long-term intellectual aspirations and goals. This apostle of learning is where I
aspire to be to acquire training and knowledge to fulfill my ambitions and at the same time I am
confident of contributing meaningfully to the programs offered at your institution. It is with this
in mind that I am looking forward to a long and rewarding relationship with you.

Financial Details:
My family is very excited about my further education in Australia. They are so well assured that
my education in Australia will help me achieve my career goals and future dream. Therefore,
they are more than willing to sponsor all the expenses that will occur while I study in Australia.

My father is a Private Employee who runs the man power for company and his annual income is
over 4.88 lakhs per annum and my mother owns an offline Sarees and beauty parlor and her
annual income is over 4.99 lakhs per annum. In total we have an annual income of over 9.33
lakhs per annum and we are a small family. I want to assure you that my parents are more than
capable of covering my living expenses and tuition fees during my stay at Australia. I would be
making a fee payment for 1 year and also have a fixed deposit for my 1-year expenses in
Australia.

Living arrangements in Australia

I have gone through different websites namely www.flatmates.com, www.realestate.com.au,

Gumtree.com.au which helps international students to get their accommodation easily. Weekly
charges for the same will vary between 250 to 350 AUD. Later, I am planning to join few
international or Indian students whom I am going to meet at Latrobe University.
