Mrs. Salwa wanted a portrait for her living room. She


looked for a portrait shop and after a few minutes she
found one. She went into the shop and looked at some
other pictures. She liked some of those more. There was a
picture of a young girl, and Mrs. Salwa liked it very much.
She went to the shop assistant and asked him about the
price. He turned the picture round and looked at the back
of it and then told her that’s thirteen pounds. Mrs Salwa
said that's very expensive and she’s going to pay only
twenty pounds for it. The man told her that he said
thirteen pounds not thirty pounds. Then she said that
she’s going to pay just nine pounds for it.
