    2019-20 PRICES
    From 1 July 2019, water and sewerage prices will
    increase by 0.6%. This is 0.7% less than inflation.
    The increase includes desalinated water to help Melbourne’s
    water storages stabilise and recover – storage levels have
    dropped to around 50% due to the drier, warmer weather and
    less rain we’ve had over the last five years.
    For the average household bill across Melbourne, this is
    around an extra $2.50 a quarter.
