Online High Schools

Today, many people choose to study online. Online schools are popular for university students.
But now many high school students are also taking online classes. Some students take all of their
classes online.
Some universities teach high school classes online. For example, the University of Nebraska
and Stanford University have online high school classes. They have students from all over the
world.
Students choose online high schools for many reasons. Some teens¹ can't attend regular high
schools because they have health problems. Many international students study online because
they want to attend a university in a different country. For example, they want to go to a college in
the U.S. or Canada, so they get an American or Canadian high school diploma² online.
Many teens take online classes because they want to make their own schedule. At an online
school, they can study at night and on the weekends. Some students finish their classes very

But online high school is not always a good choice. For some students, it's boring to study
alone. Some online classes are very difficult. For some students, it's hard to finish the work. And it
