PAA 10304: CHEMISTRY I

Format of Laboratory Report

1. Title : State the title of the experiment


2. Objective : State the objective of the experiment
3. Apparatus : State the instruments used
4. Introduction : State the brief info regarding experiment
5. Procedures/jotter : Describe the steps that you take to perform the experiment
6. Data/datasheet : Present the data appropriately. Organize the data in tables if possible.
Use a correct and consistent significant figure. State the units (SI unit)
and uncertainties of each quantity
7. Analysis of data/ : Analyze all the data properly. Show the calculations of the conducted
results experiment and the respective uncertainties (if relevant).
8. Graph : Plot a graph if appropriate.
9. Discussion : Explain what you have analyzed
10. Conclusions : Indicate what is measured, the uncertainties and the sources of
uncertainties
11. Reference : List at least 2 references either from books and journals
