you.
VALUES - In Physical Education we discover ones character and attitude especially when it comes
to trainings and practices of group activities, performances practicums. You will see who is good
at dancing, choreography, music, costume and etc.

EXPLANATION!!!
In the Philippines, its colonization affects its Physical Education. Because we’ve been
colonize by foreign countries specifically; Spain, Japan and America. These country has
affected our culture and the education we have indigenously. We have adapted their
culture, beliefs and education. These made our Educational Background wide and fruitful.

But we still have our original physical activities that are still taught or naturally learned
with our environment. Some of these are arnis, cockfighting (sabong), folk dances,
traditional games (Laro ng Lahi) such as juego de anillo, sungka, luksong tinik, luksong
baka, siklot, hide and seek (tagu-taguan) kitkit palda, card games, kite flying etc.

Some games we have internationall adopted to foreign countries are: Basketball,


Badminton, Table Tennis, Volleyball and other more known sport games in the country.

Physical Activities help our body to maintain its physical needs in order to be physically fit

performance. This helps an individual to have a deeper understanding of the lesson.
