BUSINESS HISTORY

Since the climate in the Philippines is mostly hot and dry due to global warming, most of people
do something to counter the heat like eating cold foods, most especially like desserts. So the
researchers proposed a feasibility study of the establishment of an ice cream parlor named
“Cones N’ Smiles” in Talangnan, Madridejos, Cebu. People of all ages love ice cream because it
makes the people feel the happiness and refreshment for them.

Cones N’ Smiles became places where people gathered to buy ice cream, learn the news of the
day and perhaps meet with other local residents to discuss matters of mutual concern. The name
alone makes it something you want to order. However, there are so many little moments in our
lives that also call for a sweet treat. These ice creams create an eruption of delicious flavor that
make anyone smiles. The only thing that can make this ice cream better is fitting it into a unique
waffle cone that’s dipped in melted chocolate, creamy flavors and rolled in more happy dust. The
tastes might have become more adventurous and more particular. This ice-cream becomes very
popular in our world. The consumption market of ice-cream is growing day to day.

NATURE OR KIND OF INDUSTRY

Since childhood, we are fond of eating ice cream and we actually grow up with it. Ice cream
makes every celebration more special and it bonds families and friends. It may not be a main
dish but it is a dessert everyone would love to have. Seeing how Filipinos love sorbetes or ice
cream on cart, a feasibility study will be concerning to this.
.
Cones N’ Smiles is a kind of manufacturing industry where the manufacturer transform a goods
and substance to form a product which is ice cream. Ice cream is a dairy product, which is
sweetened with either natural sugar or artificial sweeteners. Various ice creams are provided by
the companies present in the market, including hard ice cream, soft ice cream, light ice cream,
low-fat ice cream, and others. It will make the ordinary or plain ice cream that gives you smile
in one taste of it, more fun to eat and more delicious.
“In Cones N’ Smiles, the business firm believe that Customer satisfaction is our top priority.
Cones N’ Smiles are here to provide our customers the best ice cream that will best suit their
taste preference. Cones N’ Smiles make sure to give them a healthy and delicious ice cream. In
addition, the business firm provide a new taste of delight to ice cream that is accessible to those
who are about to be served in our chosen location.
Our company will continuously innovate and improve the ice cream that will satisfy the
Filipino’s ice cream cravings.”

TYPE OF ORGANIZATION
The Cones N’ Smiles is a sole proprietorship type of organization which is owned by one person named
by Ms. Jessa Lee S. Rosalejos. It is specifically a general sole trader which is owned and controlled by an
individual. The owner solely responsible for all liabilities. Most businesses start out as sole
proprietorships, as explained by the Small Business Notes website. A sole proprietor works for
themselves rather than being employed by a company and takes on all legal and financial responsibilities
for the business. The reason for this is because a sole proprietorship is the least expensive and easiest type
of business to start and operate. Sole proprietorships are limited by the amount of capital available, the
ability to get outside assistance, and a potential shortfall of needed skills to be successful.

Cones N’ Smile are striving to be the leader in providing the most delicious ice cream in terms of
providing different dipping and ice cream toppings in the country and to be the company that
will provide them the most accessible stores by reaching them to their location. Also to improve
the usual type of ice cream to satisfy our customers with great taste, best quality of service and
