loss=275W. Using approximate Equivalent Circuit. Evaluate the power flow and
efficiency if:
a) Machine is in Motoring mode with a Slip 0.03
b) Machine is in Generating mode with a Slip -0.03
c) Machine is in Plugging Braking mode with a Slip 1.2
3) A 440 volts 50 Hz 6P Y Induction motor has following equivalent circuit parameters.

induced EMF per phase is 125 Volts per phase. Rotor is slip ring type and Y
connected. Rotor resistance per phase is 0.2 Ohms per phase and standstill reactance
is 1 Ohm per phase. Neglecting stator impedance, Find:

required per phase if 3 capacitors are connected in delta.
