Preliminaries
“Quote”
Cheene: To our dynamic School Principal I, Ma’am Josie Lyn J. Dela Cuesta, to all our active and supportive
teachers, to all our distinguished and honored guests, the members of the family of our founder Atty. Orlando
S. Rimando,
Lhester: To all our major sponsors, to our ever-supportive alumni who celebrates with us today, a very good
morning to one and all and welcome to our celebration of the 50 th Founding Anniversary.
Cheene: Indeed, the month of November marks a special spot in every AOSRians heart, since this is the day
we commemorate our founding anniversary.
Lhester: That’s right! This is the day about awareness of our historical realities, present realities, and future
ventures as one institution. I believe that the celebration of the school foundation is a very much awaited
event and the grandest among all activities.
Cheene: So this is not your celebration, this is not my celebration but instead this is our celebration. So to
formally start, may we all rise and be one in mind, body and spirit as we praise and thank our
Almighty God through an opening prayer.
Lhester: After which, we shall remain standing by singing the Philippine National Anthem and please
do remain standing for the singing of Maco Hymn through an audio-visual presentation.
****Audio-visual Presentation****
Cheene: You may now all be seated. They said that “A man who does not know his history, is like a tree
without root.” Therefore, it is a must that we look back and reminisce the humble beginnings of our institution.
On that note, ladies and gentlemen let us listen to the reading of history to be given to us by Sir Jairus Earl
Dizon Teacher II of AOSRNHS, also an alumnus in this school. A round of applause please.
****Reading of History****
Lhester: Thank you so much ma’am/sir for refreshing our memories of the milestones that our institution has
accomplished. For sure, many more achievements will be reached as we continue to progress with unity and
compassion. At this time, we shall hear the message coming from our very own municipal mayor Hon. Arthur
Carlos Voltaire R. Rimando. A round of applause please.
Cheene: Thank you very much Honorable Mayor. This time around, let us hear another message coming from
our very generous and excellent Congressman in the Second District of the Province of Davao de Oro, Hon.
Ruwell Peter S. Gonzaga. A big round of applause please.
