Panimula What is applying quality standards?
It is about assessing of work activities and completed work against
workplace practices and quality standards.
This will help you to develop skills and knowledge about a quality system
instruction when performing a range of production task.
Standards are sets of rules that outline specification of dimensions, design
of operation, materials and performance, or describe quality of materials,
products or systems.

Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)


· It is a set of step-by-step instructions compiled by an organization to help
workers carry out complex routine operations.
· It is a collection of rules and instructions that is followed will result in a
completed task.

Specification of wires and cables

- Triplex wires
- Main feeder wires

Factory defects -Is any characteristic of a product which hinders its useability
for the purpose for which it was designed and manufactured.

and PEC’s and environmental code

Recording— is keeping an information or data in a record book.
Reporting—is presenting an information in an organized format for a
specific audience.

C. Engagement 60 Learning Activity 2: Log Report and Assessment Report


Pakikipagpalihan In this activity, you will play the role of a Quality Checker. You will
record the date of receipt, name of the materials purchased, quantity, and
official receipt number, signature of the person who bought the materials and
signed his name afterwards. You will identify if the materials are in good
condition or damaged and/or needs replacement. This will also be recorded
on the report.
Instructions:
1. Your teacher will serve as the assessor in this activity.
2. Using basic tools/equipment you can find at home, the Quality Checker
(you) will be assigned to:
a. Make a Log Report, and Assessment Report using the
forms below.
b. Make sure to assess all recorded items if they are in
good condition or not.
