Moral Standards

The conventions we have regarding the behaviors we consider to be ethically acceptable and
objectionable are referred to as moral standards. Particularly, moral principles address issues that
have the potential to substantially hurt or benefit people. Moral standards cannot be developed or
altered by specific authorities since their validity derives from the stream of thought that was used to
justify or support them.
