I. Objectives

At the end of the lesson, students should be able to:


a. formulate who, what, when, where, why, how questions;
b. cite situations which show the importance of asking questions; and
c. write appropriate Wh-interrogatives that complete sentences.

II. Subject Matter

Wh-interrogatives

Materials: projector, laptop, visual aids, adhesive tape


References: English Grammar Book

III. Procedure

A. Preliminary Activities

-Greetings
-Attendance
-Review
Let the students recall what interrogative sentence is.
- Motivation
Let the students formulate random questions with the pictures shown.

B. Activity

Have Some Pie


The students choose a pie number which has Wh-interrogative and a
designated number written inside of how many questions to formulate.
Students are able to call a classmate to help them with the formulation of
questions. Formulate who, what, when, where, why, and how questions.

The students write the appropriate Wh-interrogative to complete the

IV. Evaluation
The students write the appropriate Wh-interrogatives to complete the
sentences. Formulate another question using the Wh-interrogative added.

V. Assignment

The students will list at least 10 examples of Tag questions.
