(a) Is the open loop BIBO Stable? Why?
(b) Is the open loop asymptotically stable, stable, or unstable? Why?
(c) Is the system controllable? Why?
(d) Is the system observable? Why?
(e) Is the system stabilizable? Why?
(f) Is the system detectable? Why?
(g) Construct a KALMAN decomposition to help you answer part (e) and (f)

3- Consider the following transfer functions 𝐻1 (𝑠) = 𝑠+𝜔2 and 𝐻2 (𝑠) = (𝑠+𝜔)2.
(a) Find state space realizations for both systems, leaving your solution in terms of 𝜔.
(b) Classify both systems in terms of internal stability.
(c) Classify both systems in terms of BIBO stability.
Hint: your answers may depend on the value of the real parameter 𝜔, but be careful in
justifying your answers for 𝜔 = 0.
