management practice in general and sustainability practices in particular.
Learning Outcomes
After going through this activity, the students will be able to identify the need for sustainable
practices in organizations and key issues related to business ethics.
Case

Kindly read an article titled “Business ethics and sustainability” and answer the following
questions:
A) It is believed that the sustainable business practice needs to be set within a framework of
understanding of business ethics. Discuss why should sustainability be introduced at
organizational level.(2 marks)
Answer
Sustainability n most important thing for every organization. Because if an organization have no
sustainability the organization cannot make its importance in the market. And also ail the
departments ha' e importance of sustainability for mate their selves at the best level.

B) Many writers use ethics and morality interchangeably. Discuss what distinction Fisher and
Lovell made between Ethics and Morality and how it can enhance an understanding of
sustainable practices. (2 Marks)
Answer
Fisher 2nd Lovell provide two things. They was discuss about the distinctions between ethics
and morality. The writers use the terms interchangeably. But the different things can enhance an
understandable sustainable practices.
“Ethics is a term that can be thought of as developmental, whereas morality is judgmental”
(Fisher & Lovell, 2012, p 30)
C) The second dimension in the grid devised by Fisher and Lovell relates to dimensions covering
“right and wrong” and “legal and illegal actions”. Discuss. (4 marks)

The 2nd dimension in the grid devised by fisher & Lovell relates to dimensions covering “Right
and Wrong” and "Legal and Illegal': actions, during legal & Illegal actions are relates to the
actions in the relations to the relevant legal codes.
