To find the volume of each box, the researcher will first obtain the
length, width, and height of the boxes using a ruler. The researcher will
then find the cross-section of each box, with the gathered information
she will then find the volume of each box. After measuring each
beverage box the researcher will compare it to the other beverages
boxes.
The volume of each liquid will be measured by pouring each beverage
into separate measuring cups, whiles looking at the labels and writing
each beverage in milliliters (ml) that was on the beverages, after
measuring each beverage the researcher will then find the average of
each juice so that it will have an accurate volume of each and then
compare it to the number printed on the carton of the other beverages.
The stated volume on each juice box was recorded using ml (millitres)
and was converted to cm (centimetres) to make the comparison of the
like terms.
For our method of data collection, we will be using ten (10) different brands of juices. The ten
(10) juices we will be using are Cranberry WATA, Minute Maid, Schweppes, Bigga, Tropicana,
Ting, Coca Cola, Pepsi, iCool and LISHOUS. We will be measuring three (3) of each brand of
juices using a measuring cylinder. After measuring each juice we will then find the average of
each juice so that we will have anaccurate volume of each juice.
will buy different brands of juice, measure the volume in each box and compare with the
number printed on the carton. I bought 4 different type of beverages and each beverage has it’s
own amount of milliliters (ml). I then poured each beverage in separate measuring cups. Look at
the labels and wrote each beverage milliliters (ml) that was on the beverages. Then it was
measured to see if the companies are actually giving the amount that they say they are giving
The researcher will be using four (4) different brand juices (Freshhh, Big-jo, Squeez,
and Juciful). The volume of each liquid will be measured in a measuring jug a data
collection sheet will be made to obtain the measurement of each product. To find
the mass a calculation of each product will be performed with the use of a calculator.
Mass is measured in Kilograms (Kg) so to find the mass each product will be weighed
with the use of a scale and the pounds will be converted to kilograms (kg).
