Reading Intervention - Week 2

Galileo was curious even as a child, inventing moving toys. He enjoyed reading science books by Aristotle but disagreed with Aristotle's theory that heavy objects fall faster than lighter ones. Galileo tested the theory through experiments and proved it was wrong, discovering that all objects fall at the same rate of speed. During Galileo's time, it was believed the sun revolved around the Earth. To prove this belief, Galileo invented the telescope, which he called the "spyglass", to observe heavenly bodies.
