    TEACHING AND LEARNING STRATEGIES


    1. Pupils look at the question “Will people go on holiday to space?” on the board with the words in the wrong
    PRE-LESSON order: will holiday people space go to on?
    2. Pupils work in pairs and write the question in the right order.
    3. Pupils turn to Pulse 2 page 54 and copy and complete 3 gap fills the table with the short forms of will and will
    not.
    4. Pupils check answers as a class.
    5. Pupils complete 5 sentences with will or won’t to make predictions about the future.
    6. Pupils compare answers in pairs before discussing as a class.
    7. Pupils go on to Activity 3 and re-order words for 5 sentences to construct questions about their day tomorrow.
    LESSON 8. Pupils compare answers in pairs before discussing as a class.
    DEVELOPMENT 9. Pupils proceed to Activity 4 and read the advert.
    10. Pupils complete 6 sentences with will or won’t.
    11. Pupils compare answers in pairs before discussing as a class.
    12. Pupils move on to Activity 5 and read the example sentences and topics 1-4.
    13. Pupils write 4 sentences about their future life events using the 4 topics given.
    14. Pupils work in pairs to take turns and ask each other questions from Activity 5.
    15. A few pairs share their answers with the class.
    16. Pupils close their books. Pupils work individually to construct 1 example sentence for will/will not
