ROUND 1

ENSEMBLING EMINENCE

ABSTRACT & GUIDELINES

THE ABSTRACT
The abstract must contain:

Theoretical explanation of the problem and the different features of the

project:

Title and ID number of the problem statement chosen.

Participants must mention the set of issues identified according to the

chosen problem statement. Judgment of how well the participants can
explain their idea and how well they understand the subject matter will be
done. They must elaborate on the current scenario surrounding the issues
that they have found and what needs to be improved.

Methodology for the problem.

Specify a brief description of what the solution intends to do for tackling the
issues/ problems identified. Participants must list the features they want to
build pointwise with a clear explanation.

Background study:

It includes a review of the area being researched, current information

surrounding the problem, previous studies and any relevant history on the
issue.

Use of Technology:

Specify opportunities and obstacles of existing technology for the issues

identified. Identify technological ideas that have the potential to power both
transforming and optimizing initiatives that can be used for future
purposes.

Participants must specify how their technological solution improves society,

is an improvement compared to existing technology and makes a positive
impact on the modern world.
PPT/VIDEO
SUBMISSION
The Video should be 3-5 minutes long and enables the participant to clearly
explain their presentation through AV formatting. The PPT should be 10 - 15
slides.
Submissions exceeding the limit will be penalized accordingly.

The PPT / Video submission must contain:

Proof of Concept Document (POC):

Detailed flowchart of each module and each aspect as well as the

interlinking of features by specific APIs (If the team is using an external API
please make sure to mention a link to the API).

A detailed explanation of the algorithm being used to provide the

prescribed solution.

Include UI frames/ UX designs that will be made. The team must keep in
mind that the frames must be user-friendly.

A step-by-step explanation of the solution to the problem (from a technical

perspective mentions the different technologies and software used by the
team and how they are being incorporated. The video submission must
include an explanation of the idea and which technologies/software is
being used. This is aimed at testing the participants ' clarity and knowledge
about the project and its technical dependencies.

A list of added features, 2 features/modules (which are left to the

participant’s discretion) for each problem statement, and the proof of
concept of how this can be incorporated, have to be worked on. A scenario
for the same must be given where it is left to the participant to think about
how they can make the most of this scenario and how these modules can
be implemented. There would be added points for these and it is optional
for the participants to do the same.
