4. Meat processing
1. Receiving raw material / Prewashing with tap water : Soaking the raw material
into tap water firstly. (The raw meat has floating matter much more then other
materials.)
2. Sterilizing : Soaking the raw meat without floating matter into the EW to
sterilize. Meat has lots of hindrance to sterilize (like protein, floater, etc.), so please
soaking them into the sink that is full of EW.
3. Forming : Forming the sterilized raw meat depend on the purpose.크
4. Moving and spraying EW on the conveyor: When the formed materials are
moved to the quality check place with conveyor, the sprayer with EW works on the
conveyor.

5. Agriculture

6-1. Pigsty

1. The results indicate that during the preparation of a traditional salad, only about 1/58 to 1/100
residual chlorine of a chlorine solution was detected in electrolyzed water.
2. Conventional chlorine solutions require multiple rinse cycles, due to high chlorine residue. Active
chlorine in sodium hypochlorite can be easily decomposed with natural sun lay, creating many
benefits: Low chlorine residue level, safe to the environment and the human body, saving
[Result] preparation time, labor, and the amount of rinse water.

Immediately after pre-treatment of the chlorine treatment, the total Vitamin C of the raw
materials has a range of 11.87 to 30.82% which is showed a large decreasing rate. And
after rinsing 4 times, it showed a further decrease of 1.76-5.63%.
Electrolyzed water has seen a low level of reduction about 1/2~1/3 compared with the
[Result] washing with chlorine.
In case of a typical. salad production process, the total microbial counts mostly exceeded the safety
standard value with each step.
However, results of the production process used Electrolyzed water showed that meet all of the standard
value from the after pre-processing step to feeding step.
Also, the result of microbiological analysis about utensils and container in the general production process,
the total microbial and coliform counts were excess in totality and seemed a cause of Cross-
contamination. However, the result of washing a cookware, containers, and work area once with
[Result] Electrolyzed water, the standard value was all satisfied.
