Week 6

It all started an hour after the news report told us that the Typhoon
Glenda has entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility. It is predicted
to directly hit the South part of Luzon which also includes our home
province, Laguna.

Our family started the preparation by buying food supplies that don't
spoil easily. Some of them are sardines, instant noodles and wafer
breads. Reports said that there will be a possible electric and water
interruption during and after the typhoon. We charged our power banks
for us to have a temporary supply of electricity and saved a lot of water
so that we have a stock when we need it. My father led a prayer to
protect us and also the people that will be affected by the calamity. Each
of us stayed at home until the authorities told us to do so.
