1. 5 Most Visited Attraction / Destinations Local, National & International.

a) Paguriran Island & Lagoon

Paguriran Island and

Lagoon is one of the natural

wonders of Sorsogon. Travel

guides best describe it as a

lagoon in the middle of the

ocean. Strictly speaking,

Paguriran is not an island

but more like a large rocky

formation out in the sea.

Despite being surrounded by

water, Paguriran is within walking distance from a sandy shore. You can walk to

it during low tide or even high tide when the water level is usually waist-high.

The tourism highlight of Paguriran is its lagoon that occupies the hollow middle

portion of the rocky islet. The water in this lagoon reflects a clear aquamarine

color, which is considered world-class. The jumping point to Paguriran Island is

Barangay Sawangga, Bacon. From Sorsogon City, you can ride a jeepney or a

tricycle to the town of Bacon.


b) Calle Crisologo, Vigan
Travel back in time as you stroll along the streets of Calle Crisologo in Vigan as

part of your Ilocos itinerary. This 16th-century town, a UNESCO World Heritage

Site and a popular tourist spot in the Philippines, quietly boasts old-world charm

and Spanish colonial architecture and is the top attraction in Vigan, Ilocos tours

and one of the top historical landmarks in the Philippines.

The town famous for its Calle Crisologo tour has successfully managed to

preserve the historic district where you can still find calesas (horse-drawn

carriages). Sample the famous and delicious Ilocos empanada, and walk along

cobbled streets lined up with souvenir shops selling pottery and Abel Iloko

weaves, among the many things to see and do when in Vigan.

c) Boracay
Long hailed as one of the best white sand beaches in the Philippines and the

entire world, Boracay’s claim to fame is its 4-kilometer stretch of pure white,

powdery sand called White Beach. liche as it sounds, White Beach is truly

postcard-perfect, with tall coconut trees lined up and crystal-clear calm waters

rounding up its unmatched beauty, making it the top attraction in Boracay tours

and the best tourist destination in the Philippines. Those who want to indulge

during their holiday can also do so as Boracay is home to some of the best 5

star hotels in the Philippines, as well as several honeymoon resorts and some of

d) Puerto Princesa Underground River, Palawan


The gateway to the Philippines’ Last Frontier, Palawan, is its capital Puerto

Princesa. It is here that you can find the world’s longest navigable underground

river and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Puerto Princesa Underground

River or the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park. To explore this

world-famous attraction and one of the best Philippine caves, book a Puerto

Princesa underground river tour. Paddleboats of the Puerto Princesa

The Las Vegas Strip is a stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard South in Clark County,

Strip, as it is known, is about 4.2 mi (6.8 km) long,[1] and is immediately south of

the Las Vegas city limits in the unincorporated towns of Paradise and

Winchester, but is often referred to simply as "Las Vegas".

Many of the largest hotel, casino, and resort properties in the world are on the

Strip, known for its contemporary architecture, lights, and wide variety of

attractions. Its hotels, casinos, restaurants, residential high-rises, entertainment

offerings, and skyline have established the Strip as one of the most popular and

iconic tourist destinations in the world and is one of the driving forces for Las

Vegas's economy. Most of the Strip has been designated as an All-American

Road, and the North and South Las Vegas Strip routes are classified as Nevada

Scenic Byways and National Scenic Byways.

a) Bananue Rice Terraces

The Banaue Rice Terraces (Filipino:

Hagdan-hagdang Palayan ng Banawe) are

terraces that were carved into the mountains

of Banaue, Ifugao, in the Philippines, by the

ancestors of the Igorot people. The terraces

are occasionally called the "Eighth Wonder

of the World".
b) Aguinaldo Shrine and Museum

The Emilio Aguinaldo Shrine is a national

shrine located in Kawit, Cavite in the

Philippines, where the Philippine Declaration

of Independence from Spain was declared

on June 12, 1898.

c) National Museum of Natural History

The National Museum of Natural History is

the national natural history museum of the

Philippines. It is located along Agrifina

Circle in Rizal Park, Manila.

d) Eiffel Tower

The Eiffel Tower is a

wrought-iron lattice tower

on the Champ de Mars in

Paris, France. It is named

after the engineer Gustave

Eiffel, whose company

designed and built the

tower.
f) La Sagrada Familia

The Basílica i Temple Expiatori de

la Sagrada Família, Spanish:

Basílica de la Sagrada Familia;

'Basilica of the Holy Family'), is a

church in the Eixample district of

Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, and

is currently the largest unfinished

Roman Catholic church. Designed

by the Catalan architect Antoni

Gaudí (1852–1926), his work on

Sagrada Família is part of a

UNESCO World Heritage Site. In 7

November 2010, Pope Benedict

XVI consecrated the church and proclaimed it a minor basilica.

3. 5 types or forms of tourism, and discuss why you chose them.

 The only reason why I choose these 5 types / forms of tourism is that they have

something in common, Adventure. Not just the typical adventure but an


adventure wherein you can learn a lot of things like knowledge about foods, on

how to be healthy and to be educated as well.

4. List down tourism services in your area that you want to promote.

 There are several tourism services that Pilar Sorsogon offers since Pilar,

Sorsogon was surrounded by bodies of water.

o Floating bamboo pods designed by Milo Naval

o The Local Cuisines

o Snorkeling at Marine Sanctuary

o Seagrapes Harvesting at Panlatuan Bay

o Panumbagan Sandbar

These are just some of the secret beauties of Pilar, Sorsogon. There are many more

tourism services that Pilar, Sorsogon can offer.
