Music is everywhere. It’s in your car, on the streets, in the shops, even on your TV. But do you know
what the process of becoming a musician is? During the Pandemic there was a 25% decline in global
music revenue, is that enough to live on. ? Hello, my name is Charlie Parkes and I am interviewing
Nathan Bott, He’s a music student at LIPA and part of his course has been to write songs and perform
live in-front of an audience, this has included performing as part of a band called ‘Grimace’ in The
Cavern in liverpool, But being a musician isn’t as easy as you’d think, according to stacker.com, the
odds of becoming a successful musical is as little as 0.000001%. So sit back, relax, the interview is
about to begin.
