PACKAGE DETAILS

The package is contained inside the following file:

- g2w_wddm_v4_04_03_001_whql.zip

PACKAGE CONTENTS
----------------
* Matrox.Setup64.exe
This is the setup used to install the driver.

* Matrox.WddmUninstaller.exe
This is the uninstaller that will be installed at the same time than the
driver. It
will be used to uninstall the driver.

* MtxSetup.ini
This file is used to customize the package.

* mxg2do64.cat
This is the catalog file for Windows Server 2012. It's the file containing the
signature and the certificate for the whole package.

* MxG2wDO.inf
This file is used to install the drivers for Windows Server 2012 and
Server2012R2.
Some settings are set through this file.

* mxg2ws16.cat
This is the catalog file for Windows Server 2016 and Server 2019. It's the file
containing the
signature and the certificate for the whole package.

* MxG2wS16.inf
This file is used to install the drivers for Windows Server 2016 and Server
2019.
Some settings are set through this file.

* MxG2wDO64.sys
This is the driver itself. It has been compiled for the 64 bits architectures
and is
copied into the "%WINDIR%/system32/drivers" folder.

- The build environment used was Enterprise Windows Driver Kit (EWDK) Build
17763

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
----------------------
- If an older version of the driver is already installed, it needs to be
uninstalled first.
- Right-click on the Matrox.Setup64.exe file and select "Run as administrator"
option.
- Follow the instructions in the wizard.
- The system needs to be rebooted after the driver installation.

Ver 4.04.03 Build 001 (This Release)
- Fixed a random issue where the desktop colors are displayed incorrectly
after a
resolution mode change. The issue was caused by write errors that could
randomly occur
due to interrupts while programming the RAMDAC's look-up tables (LUT).

- WHQL certified for G200eW3 (not G200eW) for Server2019, Server2016,
Server2012R2, and Server2012. G200eW will no longer be certified moving
forward.
- Added support for a Default EDID when a valid EDID cannot be obtained. This
can occur if there is no monitor connected or if the monitor connected does
not have a valid EDID. Added registry D00.Monitor.EdidDefault0 containing the
default EDID data, which was taken from a Dell U2412M panel. To enable this
functionality the driver also sets the existing registry switch
User.ReportConnectionStatus to false.
- Fixed issue where SCROFF bit of SEQ1 register was not being set when
entering power saving with no local monitor connected.

Support is controlled through a new registry switch User.EnableTrue32ColCur.
If TRUE,
support for the colour cursor is enabled. If FALSE, support for the colour

This feature is enabled by default for the new devid, and disabled by default
for the previous
devid.

this is true or not.
By default, this registry switch is set to TRUE through the MxG2wDO.inf file.
