Living in a small town has some advantages such as less pollution, fresh air, and the ability to grow your own vegetables. However, there is also peace and quiet and less stress than in a big city. On the other hand, there are several problems to consider such as access to healthcare and schools if the town is too small and far from other cities. The city has advantages like more job opportunities and better schools and entertainment, but the disadvantages outweigh the benefits when considering quality of life. Overall, the author thinks they would prefer living in a nice small beach town after retiring.
