1. COURSE DESCRIPTION
The course aims to develop an understanding of Research Methods in carrying out a research study.
The students will be shown how to identify a research problem, define research objectives, and collect
the required data for analysis for providing recommendation to the management.

The course will be based on Classroom lectures, Exercises based on class-discussions, cases, and group-
project. Students would have to work individually as well as in groups. Students are expected to read the
relevant chapters from the book and any other reading material provided before they come to the class.

assignment or purchasing a paper for one’s own submission. Cheating is strictly prohibited at IMI
